I selected ‘Norweigan Wood’ by Haruki Murakami as my novel. After reading the book, there was a key theme of depression so I wanted to base my book cover on this. I reflected the Japanese Flag on my book cover with the sun and hand-drawn trees and background to reflect the name of the book.
